Fuel surcharge emergency

Dear customers,

Due to the daily increase in the cost of diesel, which has exceeded €2 per liter and is expected to increase by an additional €0.80 per liter in the coming days, as of March 14, 2022 (transportation date), it is necessary to apply an Emergency Fuel Surcharge of €40/CNTR on all transports carried out by March 31, 2022.

In the past few weeks, our company deemed it commercially correct to absorb all the extra costs incurred with our hauliers in order to ensure tariff stability. However, in light of this situation of constant increases that continue and show no sign of stopping, we cannot sustain further extra costs and are forced to proceed with the aforementioned additional charge. Please note that from the recent increases since the beginning of the year, diesel has increased by about €0.30 per liter and it will almost double soon.

Starting from April 1, 2022, if the fuel price stabilizes and new transportation rates are defined, this additional cost will be removed, and we will reformulate our quotations accordingly. Otherwise, we will be forced to maintain/increase this additional cost. Further communication on this matter will follow.
