Founded in 1905, GDT Logistic is a historic Genovese shipping company that has taken an active part in the evolution of sea transport of goods, from the loading of merchandise on board the latest sail ships, through to the stowage of containers on current ocean liners.
The continual updating to meet the changing requirements of transport by land, sea and air, and the expansion of the services offered, has allowed GDT to grow and become a confirmed ideal partner for their customers, thanks to a modern structure and integrated logistics platform between the port of Genoa and the airport of Milan Malpensa. GDT Logistic S.p.A. have registered and executive offices based in Genoa and integrated logistic platform at Milin Malpensa Airport with its own National and bonded Warehouse.

Locations and international network

GDT Logistic S.p.A. has registered and operative offices based in Genoa, in the centrally-located S. Camillo tower Via XII Ottobre, from where the sea shipments to and from all Italian ports, and the relative customs import and export operations, take place. A Branch Office plus 9000m² storage areas and a structured 3000m² national and bonded warehouse, as well as our own fleet of trucks at the airport of Malpensa, is available to manage our air traffic and our consolidated containers. A network of qualified partners and agents in the main geographical areas the world over, allow us to manage any door-to-door shipment by sea and by air with greatest efficiency.

C.A.D. - Customs Assistance Centre

The standard we have reached in terms of reliability and solidity, allow GDT Logistic S.p.A. to offer our customers customs representation by means of C.A.D. procedures, thereby obtaining a significant reduction in the risk of goods inspection, which is a major cause of delay in deliveries and consequent cost increases.
C.A.D. qualification means the joint co-responsibility with the importer for customs operations. It requires a company structure that is able to guarantee careful tracking of documents, in remote connection with the offices of the Customs Administration.
